Edward Albee’s drama The Lady From Dubuque has extended its run at off-Broadway's new Pershing Square Signature Center for a second time. Starring Jane Alexander and directed by David Esbjornson, the production will now play until April 15 at the Signature Center’s End Stage.
The Lady From Dubuque is the dark and mysterious story of Jo and Sam, a couple grappling with Jo’s increasingly painful terminal illness. When a strange woman and her companion arrive after a stressful dinner party, Sam struggles to figure out they mystery of the “Lady from Dubuque." The play originally opened on Broadway on January 31, 1980 at the Morosco Theatre.
The production also stars Michael Hayden, Laila Robins, Catherine Curtin, Peter Francis James, Tricia Paoluccio, Thomas Jay Ryan and CJ Wilson.
